About the TOPS Demo which you download from our Website:
The DEMO version is exactly like the registered version, except that a small
logo appears at the bottom of each printed page. This logo can easily be removed by telephone
should you decide to purchase TOPS.
To register TOPS via the Internet:
- 1 - Point your Browser to: http:\\www.protext.com\ets\tops.htm, then Register TOPS.
- 2 - Run TOPS, go to the Options, then Unlock the Demo dialog. (keep TOPS Running!).
- 3 - Record the Unlock NUMBER from TOPS, (keep the TOPS unlock dialog running).
- 4 - Fill out the secure TOPS Registration form on the internet (keep TOPS running).
- 5 - Enter the special code (that you are given) into the TOPS Unlock dialog.
- 6 - Your TOPS DEMO version will then be unlocked for two weeks. It becomes FULLY FUNCTIONAL.
- Your Registered TOPS diskette and manual will be shipped immediately!
To register TOPS by TELEPHONE or MAIL:
- 1 - From the Options Menu in TOPS, select Unlock the Demo.
- 2 - You will be shown a TOLL FREE number to call (this is the ETS Order Line).
- 3 - With your MC/VISA/AMEX card ready, tell the sales clerk you want to Unlock your TOPS demo.
- 4 - Give the sales clerk your name, shipping address & credit card info.
- 5 - The TOPS "Unlock" dialog will show you a special number to read to the sales clerk.
- 6 - Repeat this special number, and you will be given a special "answer" code.
- 7 - Enter the "answer" code, and your program is "unlocked" for 2 weeks.
- The UNLOCK removes the logo for only 2 weeks, you should re-load the registered version when it arrives by mail.
- Your Registered TOPS diskette and manual will be shipped immediately.
